Who is Hot: Jared Mitchell homered, doubled, and drove in two runs tonight in a slump busting performance. Scott Snodgress bounced back from being absolutely shelled in his first start to throw five scoreless innings. Snodgress also struck out six and scattered four walks and four hits. Trayce Thompson went 3-4 tonight with a double. Thompson is hitting .323/.364/.387 and most importantly for him, has only struck out 4 times over his first 31 at bats. Courtney Hawkins went 1-3 and drew a walk and now had a hit in the first seven games of the season. Hawkin’s seven game hitting streak is his longest as a professional. Recently acquired Evan Crawford struck out four over 1.1 scoreless innings in his White Sox debut for the Dash.  Crawford should move up quickly, as he is 27 years old and has major league experience.
Who is Not: Andy Wilkins went 0-4 with a walk and two strikeouts and is now only hitting .138/.194/.241. Keon Barnum went 0-4 with two strikeouts and dropped his line to .125/.200/.125. Robinson Leyer had another bad start against a tough Greenville lineup, he sports a 18.00 ERA over 6 innings pitched.
