Kyle Hansen is worth an extra mention. The reliever, who was a starter last year, has pitched 8.1 innings and is yet to allow an earned run. He has 11 strikeouts, 4 walks and 4 hits allowed.
Star of the day: Micah Johnson
Many expected Johnson to take some time to adapt to AA baseball, but he’s come out of the gates on fire. He reached base in all five plate appearances tonight and doubled his stolen base total to six. He’s hitting .377 with 10 walks and nine strikeouts in 73 plate appearances.
