Star of the day: Chris Freudenberg
Last year’s eighth round pick turned 21 just nine days ago and is having a solid start to his second pro season. With Bristol in 2013, Freudenberg had a 5.40 ERA with 27 K and 10 BB in 28.1 IP. After Friday’s start he dropped his ERA to 1.84 in three starts. With the Voyagers he had 12 K and 4 BB in 14.2 IP.
