It was an organization wide hit parade on Monday as three of the White Sox teams in play hit double digits in hits and the one that didn’t, Kannapolis, put up double digit runs against their opponents.
Charlotte 9, Syracuse 3
Jared Mitchell went 2-3 as he begins his AAA rebirth with a an RBI and walk as well. Micah Johnson went only 1-6, though he had two RBIs. Andy Wilkins continues to rake, going 3-5 with two doubles and three runs scored. Marcus Semien went 1-3 with a walk. Matt Davidson had his regularly scheduled “is he back?” game by going 3-4 with a double, walk, and two RBIs with Michael Taylor duplicating that line. Bobby Doran got the victory by pitching six innings and only allowing three runs on five hits while striking out six.
Kannapolis 10, Lexington 0
The Intimidators went to town on the legends by putting up ten unanswered runs on Monday. Danny Hayes and Jacob Morris led the way by each going 2–4 with a run scored and RBI apiece, with Hayes’ hits being two doubles. Toby Thomas went 1-2 with two walks and three RBIs off of his home run. Brett Austin went hitless in one at bat, but had three walks in his four total plate appearances. Andre Wheeler picked up the win after going five innings of one hit ball, walking two and striking out four.
DSL White Sox 4, DSL D-backs 3
The DSL White Sox trumped the DSL D-backs with 11 singles on the night. Ramon Beltre led off by going 2-4 with a walk and an RBI, Maiker Feliz picked up the other RBI after going 1-3 with a walk, and Hanleth Otano went 2-3 as well. Roger Ramos and Ylexander Villarroel each went 2-5 on the night.
AZL White Sox 6, AZL Angels 0
The AZL White Sox joined in on the hit parade by getting 14 hits vs. the AZL Angels. Blair Moore went 3-5 with two RBIs, Michael Suiter went 2-5 with three runs from his home run, Jose Barraza went 2-3 and Micker Adolfo went 1-4 with a walk and two strikeouts.
