White Sox Minor League Recap 8/21/2015: Guerrero throws another gem

Indianapolis 5, Charlotte 1
The Knights offense faltered, only mustering three hits from Leury Garcia, who had a double,  and singles from Jason Coats and Dayan Viciedo.
Hector Noesi went six innings and allowed four earned runs, off of three home runs, and struck out seven batters.
Charlotte 7, Indianapolis 2
Viciedo powered the Knights to victory in game two of the double header with a three run blast en route to a 2-4 game. Leury Garcia went 2-3 with a double. Matt Davison went 2-4 with a double, but another strikeout.
Terance Marin got the start and allowed two runs over four innings. Daniel Webb pitched a scoreless inning of relief while in Charlotte for rehab.
Birmingham 7, Mississippi 2
Frankie Montas threw six innings of two-hit, scoreless ball while striking out six batters before handing the ball over to Nolan Sanburn. Sanburn allowed two runs off of two hits in his inning of work. Zach Isler and Kyle Hansen closed out the game with two scoreless innings of relief.
The Barons offense came alive behind stellar pitching. Leading the way was Jacob May, reaching base three times off of two singles and a walk. Nick Delmonico had a two run double. Tim Anderson went 1-5 with a golden sombrero, but was able to record an RBI of his own. Danny Hayes went 1-2 with a double, two walks and an RBI.
Winston-Salem 4, Carolina 1
Jordan Guerrero spun another gem. The lefty went eight innings of one run ball and struck out four batters. Michael Ynoa finished out the game with his sixth save, striking out the side in the ninth.
Nick Basto put the Dash ahead with a three run homer in the fourth inning and went 2-3 with a walk. Trey Michalczewski went 2-4 with a double and an RBI. Brett Austin had himself a great game after his promotion to A+, going 3-4 with a double. Eddy Alvarez continued his hit parade by going 1-4 with a double. Adam Engel went 1-3 with a walk and stole his 55th stolen base.
Savannah 5, Kannapolis 0
The Intimidators were only able to muster four hits, two singles apiece for Louie Lechich and Toby Thomas.
Zach Thompson gave up five runs, three earned, in five innings of work and strick out five batters. Zack Erwin pitched the remaining 2.2 innings and only allowed one hit, walked three and struck out one.
Helena 8, Great Falls 1
Sikes Orvis drove in the lone Voyagers run with a solo shot in the seventh inning. The Great Falls pitching got beat up as starter Evin Einhardt gave up five runs in three innings.
AZL Brewers 3, AZL White Sox 2
Christopher Comito went five innings and struck out six batters while only allowing two runs, on earned. Jordan Stephens pitched two innings of scoreless relief. Taylore Cherry pitched three innings relief as the game went to extras and struck out four while only allowing one hit. Ryan Powers lost the game in the eleventh after giving up a run.
On offense, Micah Johnson went 1-3 with a double during his rehab. Corey Zangari went 1-5, but recorded his 14th error.
DSL Orioles 5, DSL White Sox 1
Carlos Requena went 3-5 for the DSL White Sox in a losing effort.
