Jim Callis is my favorite guest. He’s knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and measured. He’s not given over to hyperbole.

I think this is going to be an interesting year on the farm. I can’t wait for it to start.

Mine too. I just am amazed each time at how easily he dumps so much information.

  2. Callis mentioned Mike Shirley probably wanting Max Clark because of the Indiana connection. It goes much deeper than that (and I believe I learned this on Callis’s own podcast)–Shirley has been Clark’s personal hitting coach since Clark was 13.

    1. Shirley might want to learn how to get on a plane and stay in a Marriot for a weekend like 29 other scouting directors in case Clark goes before the Sox pick.

      1. There is almost 0 chance that Clark would make it that far in the draft. Don’t think it’s a big consideration at this point.

  3. All about prospects today.

    • Great Future Sox podcast with Jim Callis.
    • James Fox was also with Beefloaf from the 108 on the Au Jus last night.
    • Locked On had Nick talk with the Locked on Prospect guy (Lindsay Crosby) too.
