Colson Montgomery
After taking home the Fall Stars game MVP, Colson Montgomery appeared in one of the Desert Dogs final three games. For the entire AFL season, the top White Sox prospect put together solid yet unspectacular numbers offensively while focusing on trying to be more aggressive at the plate in the Fall League, but did display strong defensive traits and instincts. The 21 year old shortstop played in 20 games with a slash line of .244/.300/.415, a .715 OPS, nine runs scored, one double, two triples, three home runs, and 20 RBI.
Bryan Ramos
Bryan Ramos won hitter of the week honors after his strong week five performance, and was the lone White Sox representative to appear in the last three Desert Dogs games in week six. The 21 year old Ramos was tied for second on the Desert Dogs in games played (23) and concluded his AFL campaign with a solid .267/.337/.430 slash line, .767 OPS, 19 runs scored, two doubles, four home runs, 10 RBI, and went a perfect 1-for-1 on stolen bases.
Jacob Burke
Jacob Burke appeared in two of the Desert Dogs final three games and certainly held his own offensively against the advanced AFL competition all season long while continuing to play solid defense in the outfield. Appearing in 22 games, the 22 year old outfielder hit .253/.343/.407 for a .750 OPS, 13 runs scored, five doubles, three home runs, 14 RBI, and was a perfect 5-for-5 in stolen bases, which tied him for the team lead in said category (the other player was thrown out four times in nine attempts).
Jake Eder
Jake Eder had been in Arizona since before the regular minor league season ended working in the pitching lab trying to iron out his lower half mechanics. His time in the AFL was no different as he was trying to implement those changes in game action, albeit to mixed results. For the full AFL season, the 25 year old southpaw appeared in six games (five starts) throwing 17 ⅔ innings, allowing 18 hits, 12 runs (12 earned), 15 walks (most on team), 16 strikeouts, while having a 6.11 ERA, 1.87 WHIP, and a .265 BAA.
Jordan Leasure
Jordan Leasure did not appear in any of Glendale’s final three games, but his stellar AFL season was fittingly capped off by his Fall Stars game appearance. Appearing in eight games, the 25 year old pitched 8 ⅓ innings, allowed two hits, one run (earned), walked two, struck out 13 with a 1.08 ERA, 0.48 WHIP, and a .074 BAA.
Fraser Ellard
After celebrating his 26th birthday this past Monday (Happy belated Birthday Fraser!), southpaw Fraser Ellard capped off his strong AFL season with a strong inning of relief for the Desert Dogs. Appearing in nine games for Glendale, Ellard pitched nine total innings, allowing eight hits, two runs (two earned), walked one, struck out 14 with an even 2.00 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and a .229 BAA.
Josimar Cousin
The Arizona Fall League competition proved to be a tough task for 25 year old righty Josimar Cousin, although he did end his season with a strong final outing for Glendale. Cumulatively, Cousin pitched in six games (four starts) throwing 15 ⅔ innings, allowing 25 hits (most on team), 16 runs (15 earned), five walks, 12 strikeouts, an 8.62 ERA, 1.91 WHIP, and a .362 BAA.
Adisyn Coffey
For 24 year old Adisyn Coffey, the Arizona Fall League was a real slog through the proverbial wringer. Coffey’s first and final two appearances were respectable, but it was appearances two through five that really sunk his Desert Dog season. Coffey made seven total appearances and in six innings of work the righty allowed 10 hits, 16 runs (16 earned), 11 walks, and eight strikeouts to finish the season with a 24.00 ERA, a 3.50 WHIP, and a .357 BAA.
