Colson Montgomery – MLB Pipeline White Sox #3

Heading back to the AFL for the second season, Colson Montgomery has gotten off to a fast start for the Desert Dogs. Montgomery appeared in four of five games for Glendale and walked three times while not striking out. In addition to the hot start at the plate, the 22-year-old has also seen some action at the hot corner in the first week of the AFL season.

Michael Turner

26-year-old catcher Michael Turner appeared in two of five games for Glendale last week but made his lone hit of the week a loud one.

Tim Elko

25-year-old first baseman Tim Elko had two hits across three games, sending one over the fence for his first long ball in the AFL.

DJ Gladney

23-year-old outfielder DJ Gladney managed one hit in the opening week of AFL action, appearing in four games.

Grant Taylor – MLB Pipeline White Sox #6

A difficult second inning soured what was a solid beginning for 22-year-old Grant Taylor. Taylor had been out since June 7 with an injury but had been recently been throwing in Arizona before seeing official AFL action last week.

Peyton Pallette – MLB Pipeline White Sox #27

Peyton Pallette was rudely introduced to the Arizona Fall League, as the 23-year-old allowed five runs between both of his appearances last week.

Eric Adler

24-year-old reliever Eric Adler made two scoreless appearances last week for the Desert Dogs, securing a save in the process. Adler was the only White Sox pitching representative to not allow a run in the opening week.

Andrew Dalquist

Andrew Dalquist didn’t have a great opening week for Glendale and the 23-year-old will look to right the ship in week two.

Anthony Hoopii-Tuionetoa

24-year-old Anthony Hoopii-Tuionetoa was another member of the Glendale pitching staff to suffer at the hands of the long ball in the opening week of the season.
