Struggling Out of the Gate As you may know, the Dash lineup is cluttered with FutureSox top prospects at the top of their lineup (Anderson #5, Hawkins #6, Barnum #13, May #14). While Anderson and Hawkins have gotten off to nice starts, the latter two are struggling mightily. Barnum, a 2012 supplemental pick, has posted a .087/.192/.087 slash while striking out 11 times out of his 26 PA (42.7%). May, a 2013 3rd rounder, hasn’t done much better following a great 2013 campaign. May has posted a .080/.179/.120 line and has struck out 8 times in his 27 PA (29.6%). The bright side is the two of them barely have 50 PA between them.
