A 17-inning game involving Great Falls resulted in some extremely rare stat lines for a pair of Voyagers’ hitters. Elsewhere, Avisail Garcia returned to action on rehab in Charlotte.

Jordan Danks, Josh Phegley, Michael Taylor and Matt Tuiasosopo all homered in the Knights’ win. Matt Lindstrom made his first rehab appearance, allowing a hit, a walk and a run in 1 inning. Scott Snodgress made his AAA debut with a scoreless inning striking out two.

Garcia’s rehab debut is a good sight for Sox fans waiting to see more of the young talent. Meanwhile Johnson’s nightmare season continued with another poor start.

The Barons managed just five hits, although one was a Michael Earley home run. Mike Recchia gave up six runs in five innings.

Peter now has the most hits in a game since the club renamed to the Voyagers in 2008. His amazing day was offset by Chevy Clarke’s forgettable night. The game was scoreless after 14 innings, but both teams scored a run in the 15th before Billings finally won it in 17.

Jarvis, this year’s 10th rounder out of high school, raised his average by nearly 70 points with Friday’s 4-hit game.
