The Knights offense exploded on Monday night, with every player getting a hit, with all but Matt Davidson getting multiple hits (Davidson did have an RBI after going 1-5). Andy Wilkins went 3-6 with a double, home run, and five RBIs while Matt Tuiasosopo matched his RBI total after going 2-5 with a home run and five RBIs. Jared Mitchell went 3-5 and walked in the leadoff spot in his AAA resurgence while Carlos Sanchez showed off some muscle by hitting two doubles in five at bats, Marcus Semien went 3-5 with a double of his own. Chien-Ming Wang was likely grateful for the run support, though he didn’t need all of it after going seven innings allowing nine hits, three runs, and striking out five.
