  1. Many get excited about minor league prospects but let’s place a reality spin on the matter. The White Sox have a very poor historical record in selecting MLB talent. We’ll go back all the way to 1965 and the top player surfacing from the #2 draft picks for the White Sox is Terry Forster. To his credit Forster was a a great MLB relief pitcher but one would think the Sox could luck into a pick with a better career WAR than the 20.4 of Forster.
