Colson Montgomery

Colson Montgomery was sharp at the plate last week, belting two home runs and walking (five) as many times as he struck out. Over the last two week the power has started to click for the 22 year old shortstop, amassing five extra base hits (two doubles, three home runs) and an .888 OPS with a nearly 1:1 strikeout to walk ratio (12 strikeouts to 11 walks).

Noah Schultz

Noah Schultz had a brief but strong outing in less than ideal conditions. The 20 year old now has 33 punchouts across 19.1 innings pitched to go along with a 0.93 WHIP in his five starts on the season.

Bryan Ramos

Bryan Ramos was just beginning to punish baseballs in the Southern League with four of his six hits last week going for extra bases before getting called up to the White Sox and making his major league debut on Sunday.

Jacob Gonzalez

21 year old shortstop Jacob Gonzalez led the way for the Dash offense last week against Greensboro. Gonzalez walked more (three) than he struck out (two) last week and has kept that up through his first 25 games of the season, with 15 walks to just 11 strikeouts.

Nick Nastrini

24 year old Nick Nastrini put together a strong outing against Memphis last week, rebounding from a very tough start in his previous outing that saw him allow seven earned runs in just three and two thirds innings.

Peyton Pallette

22 year old Peyton Pallette had dynamite stuff in what was arguably his best start as a professional. Pallette threw 70% of his pitches for strikes in this outing, and most importantly, managed to issue no walks for the first time this season.

Jake Eder

Despite allowing three runs in his five innings of work, 25 year old Jake Eder had his first start of the season where he did not issue any walks while heavily utilizing a new cutter in the game. Eder now has 31 strikeouts over 24.1 innings pitched this year and 2 walks or less in four of five starts.

Edgar Quero

A offensively quiet period continued for Edgar Quero last week, securing three hits across 17 at bats in four games played.

Grant Taylor

The ACL White Sox season is set to kick off on Monday with Grant Taylor occupying a spot on that roster. The 21 year old had been working his was back from Tommy John but is set to make his professional debut once he appears in an official game.

Mason Adams – MLB Pipeline White Sox #20

A minor first inning blip was the only blemish on the line of 24 year old Mason Adams’ start against Rocket City. Adams was in control from the second inning on, where he struck out seven and did not allow a hit over his next five and a third innings of work (just one hit batter). For the season, Adams has only allowed three walks in 28.1 innings while striking out 36 for an outrageous 12:1 strikeout to walk ratio.
