Colson Montgomery – MLB Pipeline White Sox #3

Colson Montgomery had a strong second week of the AFL season, appearing in four games for the Desert Dogs. Through eight total games in the early going of the AFL season, the 22-year-old has walked nine times (to just one strikeout) and is 4-for-4 on stolen bases.

Michael Turner

26-year-old catcher Michael Turner continued to make the most of his limited plate appearances, notching five hits in nine at-bats across two games. Turner also walked once while not striking out and has been quite steady behind the dish for the Desert Dogs.

Tim Elko

Tim Elko sent three of his five hits last week for extra bases and is tied for the team lead in home runs (three), but also struck out seven times in 14 at-bats last week (three games played).

DJ Gladney

23-year-old DJ Gladney had three hits in 10 at-bats last week while appearing in three games, but did strike out six times within that span.

Grant Taylor – MLB Pipeline White Sox #6

Grant Taylor flashed his premium stuff while some defensive miscues behind him may have impacted the 22-year-old’s final line more than you’d like.

Peyton Pallette – MLB Pipeline White Sox #27

After a rude introduction to the AFL last week, Peyton Pallette had a nice bounce-back outing for the Desert Dogs last week.

Eric Adler

24-year-old Eric Adler made two appearances last week, the first of which was more of a clunker than his second outing, which happened to be a multi-inning scoreless affair.

Andrew Dalquist

Andrew Dalquist made one appearance last week for Glendale, allowing a couple hits and a run.

Anthony Hoopii-Tuionetoa

24-year-old Anthony Hoopii-Tuionetoa had a scoreless multi-inning outing last week out of the Desert Dogs bullpen.
