It took us a few months to produce our second podcast of the season, which went up earlier this month, but we didn’t take as long to come out with another podcast.
Will Siskel, Daniel Shapiro and podcast debutant Brian Bilek joined me to talk about a few different topics relating to White Sox minor leagues. We start by talking about Will’s recent trip to Birmingham, what he saw, what impressed him, including his thoughts on Frank Montas and Tim Anderson.
Next up we get Brian’s opinion on his interview with new Director of Amateur Scouting Nick Hostetler. We continue with an update on the minor league playoff races and what the value of getting into the playoffs is. Then we finish up with a brief discussion on potential September call-ups.
