Horn was drafted as a 22-year-old redshirt junior. He transferred to Auburn for the 2019 season and had a 5.97 ERA in 37 2/3 innings that year. He appeared to be taking a step forward in the abbreviated 2020 college season with a 2.08 ERA and 27 strikeouts in 17 1/3 innings.
His fastball was 92-93 in his final season at Auburn with a solid slider. That two-pitch mix could have him profile as a reliever. His experience in the SEC and his age make him a candidate to move quickly in the minors.
